At RVA Light, every day brings someone new through our doors.
Whether it’s for help with a job application, support finding housing, or simply a listening ear—we’re here to walk alongside our neighbors in love.

But the need is growing. We believe God is calling us to do more.

To make sure we never have to turn anyone away and can keep serving well, we need your help.

That’s why this spring, our director Sam is running 100 rugged miles through the Massanutten Mountains, climbing over 18,000 feet of elevation to raise $18,000—one dollar for every foot of the climb.
He’s running with a purpose: to reflect Jesus' love and help carry our neighbors’ burdens.

Your gift will go directly toward job and housing search support, fresh clothing, job readiness tools, and the daily ministry of peace and presence that RVA Light offers in our neighborhood.
